How about the Dell Direct Store at Monroeville Mall?

If you're interested, you can find schedules for the Expo Mart and coupons
to
knock a buck or so off your admittance fee here:
http://www.marketproshows.com/computershows/index.html

But I quit going there too, for much the same reasons as the ones mentioned
(esp. the out-of-town and questionably reliable vendors - here for the
shows,
heaven only knows how you'll ever find 'em again if something you buy from
'em
is toast). I can indeed get better prices - often including shipping! - at
places like pcmall.com, newegg.com, etc.

Plus, once upon a time you could get good software there (as opposed to
racks of
$10 CD's of stuff like Reader Rabbit knockoffs) - there used to be vendor
upon
vendor selling name-brand stuff. Now there's *maybe* one who still sells
something other than cheap clip art CD's. There were vendors who sold tables
of
computer books on current software... now it's mostly folks hawking cell
phones
and used laptops, and folks selling motherboards and sundry (these being the
ones who you're never sure will be there ever again).

Just my two cents...
Anna (coming out of lurk mode for a nanosecond)
