 	If they are ancient Macintosh computers (Pre-OSX), you should be 
able to install netatalk, edit /etc/atalk/AppleVolumes.default, and throw 
only the paths you want to share in it.

 	Otherwise, Samba will work like a champ with OSX, and no wacky 
wierdness, as I understand it.
