You realize you sent a message that was content-type text/plain, but  
had html formatting in it?

I suspect this is because of the mailing list software stripping out  
the text/html part, but I could be wrong.  Still, having your sig  
contain images to off-site images is kind of weird, and any client  
that would actually render it is horribly insecure.
