I was going to say something along these lines of the message below.
I do game maps for Enemy Territory which is based on the Quake 3 engine.
You can get the map designer software at:
http://www.qeradiant.com
This software (GTKRadiant) runs under Linux and can be used for designing
games based on the Quake2, Quake3 and Doom 3 engines.
