Russ,

Do they simply want you to connect to an existing VPN or do they want you to setup the VPN?

Ok, I have a client that wants me to get to his server via VPN, and I have
to admit I'm clueless about it.

On Windows, to access a VPN, you just open a box, type in the IP, username
and password, and click on it to connect.

I've been looking up VPN stuff for linux, but it all seems MASSIVELY
complicated (to me anyways).

Isn't there a really easy, bonehead-proof, way to simply connect to
another server via a VPN (which they then want me to connect via telnet
after I've established the VPN connection.
