It seems like the point Drew is trying to make is:
1) Wardriving is not illegal.
2) There has been a Hacker vs. Cracker esque confusion of the term
wardriving.

Hacking is not illegal, cracking is.

Wardriving is not illegal, misapropriating a wireless network is.
