I have used A2Z Computers (located in Monroeville and Robinson Twp) for years to buy parts. I've developed a good relationship with them and can say their prices are in most cases lower than chain stores.

Well, there's Kevin's Computer up here in Squirrel Hill. I can't
endorse them because I usually buy my stuff from the web, too, but
they've been here awhile, and haven't gone out of business (yet?).

There're a couple of CompUSAs in Monroeville and Robinson, and there's
an Apple store in Shadyside now, although I expect that's not what
you're seeking.
