it is so disturbing, the number of supposed geeks who
don't even know what an RFC is, where to find them, or
simply ignore them when the mood suites.

Lack of editorial control; anyone can say whatever
they please; often difficult to guage the
competency/legitimacy of supposed experts; virtual
slander runs amuck...is it any wonder that many
consider the internet to be the bathroom wall of the
virtual world and that very few legitimate journalists
or researchers will use the internet as a "source"?
