[wplug] default printers for firefox on linux

I'm trying to configure the printer settings in firefox. We have a couple
printers which have spools on our print server. The server is running cups
and we get our spool info from the server. We have 5 or 6 print spools, but
I'll use the spools 'scribe' and 'quill' to describe what we're
expirencing. For every spool we have the printer selection list in firefox
has two plus two others whos orgin is unknown. The printer selection list
looks like:

scribe@:64
quill@:64
xp_ps_spooldir_HOME_Xprintjobs@:64
xp_pdf_spooldir_HOME_Xprintjobs@:64
Postscript/scribe
Postscript/quill

Now the first two with the '@:64' seem to print to the printers in A4
format. The last two seem to print to the correct printer in the correct
format. The function of the printer options with the 'xp_' prefix is unknown.

Now this is my question. Is it possible to eliminate the options which end
in '@:64'? Also is it possible to specify the default printer arbitrarily?
