Sometime in February Steve Bierly assaulted the keyboard and produced:

When the Centrino's first came out the Linux support was pretty poor. I
read somewhere that Intel was going to start supporting the Centrino stuff
on linux, but I think it will take a while before you or I could
benefit from that.
