[wplug] Woke up this morning to a noisy machine...hard drives?

I have the same HSF on my AMD 1700 O/C'ed to around 2 ghz.. :) Not as good
as my Alpha Pal, but still a very good bang for the buck.
Another trick I like to silence fans is place a small rubber washer between
the head of the screw and the case, and another between the fan and the
case. It really cuts back on vibration noise.
