I'll plug pair also. I haven't used their services yet (except to
download open source stuff from their mirrors -- like imagemagick),
but I've heard good things about them.
Their webhosting plans seem to be a little on the expensive side for
the features offered at each level, but, I've learned that you get
what you pay for with other cheaper hosts. The el cheapo host might
have everything under the sun for 5.95 a month, but who knows how long
they'll be around, and you can usually forget about tech support. Of
course this isn't true of every budget hosting company, but I've been
burned a couple times by hosts that came highly recommended based on
price.
In short, pair seems to be very reliable, and they're local ... that's
probably worth the extra couple bucks a month.(and they run F/OSS
download mirrors!)
