Hi,

Merge is part of the rcs package.

It is available at: 
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.0/suse/i586/rcs-5.7-768.i586.rpm
(for an i586 system)

You would be wise to run Yast2 and choose install/remove software,
then search for rcs and check the box at the bottom to have all dependencies 
resolved.
