That will do a bit-for-bit copy of hda to hdb.  That includes the master
boot record information, which is the first 512 bytes of the drive.  In
other words, the replica will be bootable.

Nice..  So to copy everything to another drive I should just be able to
do a

dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb 

and have a bootable replica?  Will this break lilo like cloning with
ghost does?
