Thanks a lot for all the information. But I still
found only 1 cpu in linux, though I found 2 cpus in
the bios. And I double checked the label and the
package, it seems they are mp proessors instead of xp
processors.
The kernel is kernel-smp#2.4.22-1.2115.ntpl now.
Use top still find only one cpu,
CPU states: cpu user nice system irq
softirq iowait idle
total 0.0% 0.0% 0.0% 33.3%
33.4% 33.1% 0.0%
whenever I press 1 or C.
same thing for cat /proc/cpuinfo
