[wplug] fetchmail problem with POP3 from verizon.net

While I am away from home, I have fetchmail grab my mail from several of 
POP3 accounts onto my traveling computer.  I leave the mail on the 
server until I return home, then download it to my desktop machine at 
home and remove it from the server.  However, with the verizon account, 
fetchmail doesn't seem to recognize that a message has already been 
retrieved and retrieves it again, and again, and again, ad nauseum.  
With my other accounts, fetchmail apparently recognizes that it already 
has downloaded a message and doesn't download it again.

Any thoughts?
