I would try CrossOver Office from codeweavers.com to run IE & flash.  I 
use it for situations like you describe.  This will perform much better 
than bochs.  However, you'll have to fork over $79 or so for CrossOver 
Office.   CrossOver is CodeWeaver's souped up wine.

You could try regular wine and download IE from M$, but CrossOver is 
much easier to deal with.
