I'd love to have this as an experimental machine (FreeBSD had tier-1
support for the Alpha platform until they retired it, I think the support
is still very good)

I'm not familiar with that particular model, is it roughly PC sized?

I don't have a particular use for it.  If someone else has a specific use,
they should take it.  If there are no other takers, I think I'll take it.
