[wplug] network card woes

When I try to bring up the network I get the following in messages:

I'm using dhcp above, but I get similar problems when try to set the ip
address. The network card worked fine when I installed the os (fedora core
3 test), but the nic wont come up for the life of me after the install.

At first I thought maybe the nic was bad, so I swapped it out. I still have
the same problems. When I looked for the 'sit0' line above in google it
returns a lot of people having trouble with wireless nics. The nic I'm
using is not wireless --- I don't know if that matters, but its somethin I
noticed. 

Can anyone offer any information on this one?
