[wplug] *.bat files

I thought . was csh syntax. I think you have to use source in bash as in 

source /home/jason/test.sh

I am on windows at work so I cannot check it.

At one time, you could run a script in the current user shell by preceding
it with dot-space as in:

. /home/jason/test.sh

I haven't tried it in Linux, but I expect it would work.
