[wplug] Mystery CVS folder

Today I noticed a folder in my home directory call CVS (yes all caps)

The real problem is I have no idea how it got there.  I looked inside
and found the following files:

-rw-r--r--    1 kevin    kevin       20189 Dec 23 20:35 Entries
-rw-r--r--    1 kevin    kevin         306 May  1 12:46 Entries.Log
-rw-r--r--    1 kevin    kevin          24 Jun 29  2003 Repository
-rw-r--r--    1 kevin    kevin          34 Jun 29  2003 Root

I pretty sure that the Entries.log timestamp is just because I opened it
with NANO to read it.  I read the other files with less.  I have only
used CVS once, and that was in April.  When I look at the Entries file,
I see various files that I used to have on my system, all from a gentoo
icons package I was checking out some exaples:

When I looked at the Entries.log file, I have NO IDEA what is going on
there.  The full file is below:

What the H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks is going on here?  Have I been rooted,
or am I just paranoid?
