[wplug] MMS and WMA under Linux

mplayer and xine both support playing mms streams but I had no luck with the URL you posted.

Somewhere out there is a mms_client and download application too.

Try this:

mplayer mms://sg5.allmusic.com/012wma_28/s130/s13033/s1303362/s130336213s1qvy.wma

Make sure your mplayer supports .wma files or you will need to download the proper codecs first.
