[wplug] what do these services do?

The followin are run by inetd:

9/tcp     open  discard
13/tcp    open  daytime
37/tcp    open  time

I don't belive I've ever seen these before. I'm tempted to disable them,
but I don't know if something else depends on them. Can someone provide
some insight into this?
