Sometime in July Wise, Jeremey assaulted the keyboard and produced:

| When I used windows I used winscp which was very nice for transfering
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ doesn't it feel good to say that ;).
| large quanties of files via SCP to any server which was running a SSH
| dameon. I have googled and found no equivalent. Is their one out their?

i mucked around with google and found this post

http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2002-Jan/0367.html

sure enough when i opened up konqueror and went to:

fish://computer:21/home/user

(my home computer from school) it brought up the contents of my home
directory. i didn't have to enter a password because i have my ssh keys
setup. i tried it without pecifying the ssh port, 21, and it didn't work.

sftp://computer/home/user

also seems to work in konqueror.

also of note ~user doesn't seem to work.
