I have never had decent stability with systems of this type of
profile. Given the relative fragility of laptops in general, and the T23
under Linux in particular, I don't know how well you can expect to fare....
Is it safe to assume that your "custom kernel" has ACPI tweaks in it? (don't
think the T23 played nice with APM at all) That's where I'd look first.....
Of your RPM list the only things that I see that aren't merely devel
packages are ogle and alsa and the afs stuff - but if you've canned afs I'd
suspect your power management stuff over any other (rpm) installed package.
