[wplug] moving from Sun Cobalt to Linux server

I've been given the task of moving 44 websites and domains from a Sun 
Cobalt server over to a Linux server (consolidating the two).  I have to 
move the websites, domains, databases, users, their mail, etc. all to a 
new server that already has a lot on it.

Can anyone point me to some reading material on the web that deals with 
this specifically that they find very good?  I've been googling around and 
found a great page on tranferring users, but the rest I can't find 
anything as good.

P.S.  These are all live.  I could also use some advice/reading material 
on preventing things like losing email or database updates as the domains 
transfer over.
