What issues did you come across with X? I did a make update then a make
upgrade followed by a make dist-upgrade and it worked sweet? Interested
for future reference.

Actually they use a bunch of custom packages, it's debian-based but it's
not an official debian distribution. If you try to do a dist-upgrade
with
the official debian packages you may find yourself doing some hairy
reconfiguration of things like X.
