Wow - you're _totally_ forgeting that Linux is _just_ a kernel. Without
GNU, Linux is little more than a great way to keep CPUs warm. NOt saying
that RMS is right in all respects, but it _is_ GNU/Linux that we're all
using.......

It was Tuesday, February 17, 2004 when Jonathan S Billings took the soap

It's all silly anyway. Back when Linux hit the scene it was an enemy
of the FSF, a dumb hack that took mindshare from the HURD. Why, then,
does RMS even care about Linux? In those days the FSF was known for
pumping out amazing software and only letting in the best written
code. Now that Linux beat the HURD RMS wants to take all the glory for
writing a decent license that Linux uses. Seems silly to me, I thought
Linux was all about getting out of the mindless "HURD" and thinking
for yourself. ;-)
