Would you please confirm that this is merely an attempt to offer donations of Free Software and other information peacefully and without hindrance to the organisers or attendees of this meeting to certain individuals who are at liberty to decline and that there is no intention of breaking any law whatsoever?

If this is the case, then I am sure that all members of WPLUG and all freedom loving persons and organisations, including myself, will support anyone's right to decide to participate. I am sure that any participants will similarly accept anyone else's decision to disagree or disapprove.
