[wplug] mp3's, redhat9, and esd.

Sometime in February Vanco, Don assaulted the keyboard and produced:

i've looked to see what processes are running. esd seems to be the daemon
of choice. after esd starts, no more sound. is there an easy way to change
the sound daemon being used?
