Okay, our IT guy come up with the following, basically this vario is the 
enity that owns the IP's that verizon is leasing to us through our ASDL 
hookup.  Even though a forward lookup of our IP address will tell you 
who we are, (by our DNS -- and be vouch by verisign), the reverse lookup 
is handled by vario's DNS and they could care less about who we are.  I 
guess my work around is to subscribe a personal email acount, and then 
use web based email from work to post to the aol list.
