Hi all from the showfloor @ LinuxWorld.  Thought I'd drop a quick note 
with some pics and a few GeeWiz facts....
Attached a photos of the heart of the IBM mainframe - the z990.  It's 
generally housed in a liquid cooled heatsink the siize of a shoebox, but 
this one is out for display.
Stats:
The core you see here has 101 layers
Contaims 2.5 billion transistors
Is internally connected via .5 kilometers of copper wire
(On the bottom) has 5184 pins
What you see is:
16 cpu cores
32mb shared cache

It's currently serving up 485 SLES servers on 4 CPUs
