[wplug] Mplayer -- remain open after playing avi?

If it's an avi file try using xanim.

You could enter xanim -Zp0 file.avi

This causes xanim to open the movie paused at frame zero.
Once you hit play, xanim will loop through the movie over and over.

Have you tried xine ?

If you have Main Actor installed, you can load the movie into it and view the
movie frame by frame.

My SuSE 8.2 pro CD's came with a ton of video programs.
If you're running SuSE, check some of those other players out too.

Hope this helps,

Bob
