I've been hammering on it for a while, also. The basic set of drivers
picks up quite a bit of not-quite-weird hardware, especially on the
server side of things (Proliant DL3?0's, especially). Setting up APT on
a Fedora machine makes it much easier to keep updated, too. The only
major problems I had were building RPMs of msyslogd and compiling MySQL
v4.1.x.
