so i recently got a compact flash reader from best buy. i've read around on
the internet and from what i can glean i need to load the usb-storage
module, plug in the device (i also tried the opposite order) and the device
should show up in: /proc/bus/usb/devices. well i tried this and i even
tried to reboot and let kudzu find it. alas i've had no luck. my

/proc/bus/usb/devices

file is empty and /proc/bus/usb/drivers lists the following:

         usbdevfs
         hub
 96-111: hiddev
         hid
         usb-storage

since i have little expirence with usb devices i'm not really sure where to go
with this. the usb camera howto wasnt much help.

can anyone offer anything on this?
