[wplug] books

I need some new books.. unix / linux related, of course.
Problem is, I'm rather tired of picking up something and it turning out 
to be mind-numbingly boring or useless. For example, O'Reillys Unix 
Backup and Recovery. ugh.

So, can anyone give some suggestions on some good books to read? 
Something I can pick up and actually learn something from it. Suggest 
anything.. from programming to scripting to security to sysadmin to 
internals to networking etc.
