Sometime in September Russ Schneider assaulted the keyboard and produced:
| Seems my machine is uploading a bunch of data. I can't tell what it's
| uploading or who's initiating it.
|
| How do I determine what's being uploaded and by whom?
so you are saying that there is a lot of traffic leaving your machine? do
you know what protocol they are using? if it's web then you should check
apache's access_log file. if you just want to know which ports are using
all the bandwidth, i would suggest something like jnettop
http://jnettop.kubs.info/

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless,
whether the mad destruction is brought under the name of totalitarianism or
the holy name of liberty and democracy?
