[wplug] wierd name resolution problem

Sometime in September Russ Schneider assaulted the keyboard and produced:

heck i don't know, i just know that /etc/resolv.conf is where programs look
to find out the ips of the name servers. perhaps when sendmail (or whatever
mail program you are using) started, it picked up the nameserver info. at
some point after that the file was cleared (the adsl-setup program can do
that for example) and then sendmail kept on chugging along with the old
info. did you try sticking name servers in /etc/resolv.conf? did that help?
