[wplug] spam influx?

Just out of curiosity,

has anyone else noticed a rather large increase in spam lately?
I've been seeing an increase of about 2500 double-bounces a day (our 
normal rate is about 500). Been trying to add them to our RBL as fast 
as possible, but they seem to be coming from IP's all over the place 
with no pattern at all.

Wonder if the recent attacks on some ORBs are related to this?
