[wplug] Suse install problem

hello plugers,

A friend, a newbie, has os xp on his primary hd and was attempting to install the suse 8.1 to 2nd hd which was clean. he did not change the xp to fat 32 from ntfs.

Problems abound.  he said the program installed but he did not put any root name in as requested.  Now the keyboard does not respond, the screen except for GRUB and cursor in the left corner.  Is their some way he can get back to  where he can clean things up and start over?
