from ~/.pinerc
# Your login/e-mail user name
user-id=dld

# Sets domain part of From: and local addresses in outgoing mail.
user-domain=pobox.com

This sends email with From:dld at pobox.com ... the account has a different 
username and domain name.

It can also be edited in the Setup screen for Pine.
