I still have my dialup account with another ISP (and I think I'm going to keep
it, as double-homing seems to have some advantages...), so, while writing
firewalling rules, I tried a few things...

I *was* able to ping the DSL IP from the dialup.

I *was not* able to telnet to the DSL IP from the dialup, even though I had not
yet explicitly ordered the router to drop incoming packets.  Yes, I can telnet
to the box from the private network, using one of its private IPs.

Does anyone know if Verizon blocks incoming on anything other than port 80?
