[wplug] RH upgrade

I upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2 to 8 and finally to 9.  The only problem I ran
into was after the upgrade to 9.  I lost the ability to modifiy the screen
saver in KDE and GNOME desktops.  The screen saver works but I can no longer
make any changes to it.
