[wplug] palm m135 & KPilot (Slackware 9)

I'm trying to get my PalmPilot working with Slack and KPilot. It works
out of the box with Mandrake, but for some reason I can't get it to sync
with Slackware. The KPilot is set to /dev/pilot (which is a symlink to
/dev/ttyS0 -- the correct usb port). I get no errors on startup, KPilot
says "Trying to open device...device link ready...", but when I try to
hotsync nothing happens. I've tried playing around with permissions and
device names (i.e. /dev/ttyS1, /proc/bus/usb/001, etc) to no avail. Has
anyone experienced similar problems getting a Palm to work?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan
