Good afternoon, all,

I have two questions regarding Firebird and KDE, which are as follows:

1) Is there any way to make Firebird (or even mozilla) act in a manner 
such that when I click on the Firebird icon, and another instance is 
already running, it can just open a new browser window, as opposed to 
making me choose a different profile?

2) If there's an answer to my first question, is it possible to make 
Firebird the default browser in KDE, so that when I click on a link in 
the news ticker, it fires-up Firebird, not Konqueror?
