[wplug] [OT] Web Calendar

I know that this is a little off topic, but I'm sure some of you have done some web development and could hopefully answer my question.

I have been working on a new design for our schools website. (The current version can be seen at http://www.pathways.k12.pa.us) I have placed a few of the new pages on the web at http://ourworld.cs.com/kvsquire/NUP_site/ as a test (note that only the "About_us" tab and the "home page" are present)

What I am looking for is a Web based calendar that I could place on the pages. I would like to find one that would allow for a little calendar (1 month view) to be placed on every page (probably a cgi script?) right below the right hand menu. Or if not a 1 month calendar, then the output from the 'calendar' program from linux/unix. Then on the News tab I would like a small section at the top that would give the output from 'calendar' then below that a full size monthly view calendar.

I have found, and like webcal for the full size monthly, but not sure how I can have is placed inside my template instead of its own layout. Could this be done with SSI? (I've already looked through webcal's documentation, but could not find anything.)

I hope that my discription is clear enough - any input would be greatly appriciated.

Forgot - The new website will be running with Apache on Debian.
