I'm a newbie who just picked up a Suse book from Barnes & Noble. In the book was a distribution for Suse 6.3. I installed the distro, but found out later that it was really outdated and couldn't recognize my video cards. My question is should/can I just start upgrading to the next revision (7.3) and use this as a learning experience (upgrading kernels, XF86,etc) or just buy a higher rev.?
