Sometime in May Vanco, Donald assaulted the keyboard and produced:

| For some reason my HTfML interface has canned you original text - but have
| you:
| 1) upgaded ("up2dated") all packages to current rev
| and
| b) chkconfig vsftpd on

the daemon is running (i can access it from the private network) and
everything is updated.  the rcfiles are setup correctly, and it's running
at boot time.
