so i'm trying to get an ftpserver setup on our firewall. i can ftp to it
from machines behind the firewall just fine but when i try to ftp in from
the outside i get the following
on server: /var/log/secure
May 21 12:41:02 bubba vsftpd: warning: can't get client address: Bad file descriptor
on the client:
~$ ftp bubba.com
Connected to bubba.com
421 Service not available.
i've played around and i think it has something todo with my firewall
rules. i've set things up todo nat, and it worked in the past. i recently
upgraded to redhat 9, and that is when this started. anyone have any ideas?

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless,
whether the mad destruction is brought under the name of totalitarianism or
the holy name of liberty and democracy?
