Thanks.  That's the maddening part about laptops .. not easy to swap
hardware.  I have poked around a bit and do see that there are problems,
but also that the beowulf/network guy supports it working.

On the other hand, I'll probably use the wireless more often
than the wired version, and that is a Prism 2.5 chip that seems
to be well (enough) supported.
